Out of the Office: How to Enjoy the Outdoors with an Elegant Picnic

As summer officially comes to an end with the Labor Day holiday, I thought it is best to say farewell to the season in a classy way. Since picnics are essentially the best way to practice social distancing, it is a fabulous opportunity to spend quality time outdoors, eat great food, sip champagne, and relax with great company.

Rosé Champagne is absolutely my favorite, so it was only right we bring along Veuve Clicquot to add an extra layer of chicness to our picnic vibe. To  enhance visual aesthetics,  I borrowed my mother’s picnic basket and purchased the beautiful faux flowers pictured from Amazon. Link to the flowers can be found here. To create the beautiful cheese spread, I bought cheese and crackers from Harris Teeter and this really stylish board here. Lastly, I wanted my outfit to also compliment the outing, so I snagged my beautiful Missguided White Floral Shirred Sleeve Milkmaid Mini Dress for under $30 here.

With the seasons changing, I definitely think picnics are a great activity for the fall. What are your thoughts? Were you able to enjoy a picnic this summer?
